Ways to Make a Gift to the UCI Libraries

Make a secure gift online
You can make a one-time gift, set up a recurring gift, or make a pledge or pledge payment. Recurring gifts can be established with a set number of payments or can be open-ended. You will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible donation automatically via email. This is the best way to make a credit card gift. You can make a gift online at any time.

Please print and complete this form to indicate the specific fund, collections, or programs for your gift, and include the fund name on the memorandum line of your check.

Bequests
In writing a will or living trust, donors can specify that they would like their estate to specifically benefit the UCI Libraries.

Real Estate
Real property, either in its entirety or in part, can be deeded to The UCI Foundation to benefit the Libraries. It is possible to arrange a sizable tax deduction by deeding a home to the Library, while continuing to occupy the property for life.

Charitable Gift Annuity
Donors may transfer money, securities, or real estate in trust to the Libraries and receive income for themselves or another, for life. Donors may receive immediate tax benefits, and ultimately the Libraries receives the trust property.

Qualified Retirement Plans
Naming the UCI Foundation as a beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan (IRA, KEOGH, 401(k) or 403(b)) may be particularly advantageous to donors; doing so may result in more assets being passed on to heirs than if the donor makes a bequest from other funds in the estate.
